A graduate of Hanoi's Intrustrial Arts University. Trinh Bich Thuy uses locallly - made taffeta, organza and silk. She modeled this collection on Vietnam's traditional clothes: the "ao yem" halter top, the "ao ba ba" split panel blouse, and the "ao dai" tunic.

The lotus, symbol of purity, grace and femininity, inspires a new collection by Hanoi designer Trinh Bich Thuy.
